The Catena Malbec 2021 is a blend of grapes from three high mountain vineyards, each with distinctive characteristics:
· Lunlunta (920 m above sea level): alluvial soil with silty clay on the surface and rounded rocks in depth.
· El Cepillo, Eugenio Bustos (1,090 m above sea level): sandy-silty soil with limestone layers and rounded rocks.
· Gualtallary (1,450 m above sea level): gravelly and calcareous soil with rounded rocks.
These vineyards, located between 920 and 1,450 metres above sea level, benefit from a cool climate and diverse soils, giving the wine complexity and freshness.
